The farm here at Blagdon covers 2500 acres (1250 football pitches) of beautiful South East Northumberland countryside and is part of The Blagdon Estate, home of the Ridley family.

The farm grows wheat, barley, beans and oilseed rape but also green manures as part of a sustainable rotation. The farm uses environmentally sensitive methods and was one the first LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) farms in the country. It now supplies the shop with Beef, Turkeys, Game and Vegetables all grown and raised in free range and high welfare systems.
